Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the official WePlay Expo website (the “Website”), operated by the WePlay Expo Organizing Committee (the “Committee”). By using the Website, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms apply to browsing the Website, submitting applications or inquiries through it, and all other uses related to it. Any notices or guidelines separately established by the Committee on the Website form part of these Terms.

Article 2 (Published Information)

  1. The Committee endeavors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information on the Website but does not guarantee either.
  2. Event dates, venues, performers, exhibitors, fees, and other details published on the Website may be changed or canceled without notice.
  3. The Committee is not liable for any loss incurred by users as a result of changes to or cancellation of published information.

Article 3 (Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Rights)

Copyright, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights in all text, images, videos, logos, programs, and other content on the Website belong to the Committee or third parties holding the relevant rights.

Unauthorized reproduction, republication, modification, public transmission, sale, or lending beyond uses permitted by law, such as private use, is prohibited.

Article 4 (Links)

  1. Links to the Website are generally permitted. However, links may be refused in the following cases:
    • Links from sites containing illegal information or content contrary to public order and morals
    • Links from sites containing content that defames the Committee or related parties
    • Links displayed within frames in a way that makes the content appear to belong to another site
  2. External websites accessed through the Website are outside the Committee’s control. The Committee is not liable for use of those external websites.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

The following conduct is prohibited when using the Website:

  • Violating laws or public order and morals
  • Infringing the rights or interests of the Committee, other users, or third parties
  • Interfering with the Website’s operation or placing excessive load on its servers
  • Registering or transmitting false information, or impersonating another person
  • Improperly obtaining or analyzing the Website’s content

Article 6 (Exhibitor Applications)

  1. Exhibitor applications are subject to the conditions set out in the exhibitor guidelines published on the Website.
  2. Application review results, space allocation, and the handling of exhibition fees are governed by the exhibitor guidelines and exhibition contract.
  3. If these Terms conflict with the exhibitor guidelines, the exhibitor guidelines take precedence.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Committee accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website.
  2. The Website may be interrupted or suspended due to communications or computer failures, natural disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances.
  3. The Committee is not liable for problems in users’ environments caused by downloads from the Website or similar activities.

Article 8 (Amendments)

The Committee may amend these Terms without prior notice to users when it considers this necessary. Amended Terms take effect upon publication on the Website.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes relating to this Website shall be handled in accordance with law by the competent people’s courts in Shanghai, China.
